Nibo Union USA Inc, is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and social purposes, including for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
We organize cultural and social gatherings in the United States of America, to promote comradeship among Nibo people residing in the United States of America with its citizens, to stimulate awareness of Nibo, Nigeria and to raise funds to support non-profit projects. We expend such funds raised in improving existing schools, hospitals, libraries and welfare of the people of Nibo town in Nigeria and the surrounding localities. We give moral support to encourage members to impact positive traditions and values that will assist them become acclimated to life in the United States of America, to contribute and to foster positive image of Nigeria.
Nibo Union USA Inc, is governed by an executive committee who are voted into office every two years. The Union currently has seven local branches located in major cities across the United States but continually expands to other cities where members reside in sufficient numbers.
